What would a dietitian want you to eat every day?

We’ve learned about salmon and avocados, now let’s learn about kale!

(Before we talk facts, let’s laugh...

Why is the kale never lonely? Because it’s always in bunches.  We all need a laugh nowadays, don’t we?)

Now, on to the facts...

  • Kale is packed with a range of vitamins and minerals, including Vitamins A, C, and K, as well as phytochemicals.

  • Eating one cup of chopped kale gets you almost double the recommended amount of Vitamins A and C. The same cup will get you almost seven times your daily value of Vitamin K.

  • Kale contains lots of phytochemicals. These powerful little molecules help you stay energized and are a great antioxidant and anti-inflammatory for the body!
